Rehoming a Maincoon

If for any reason you are no longer able to keep your Maine Coon, we are here to help you find a new, loving, and permanent home for your cherished companion. We understand that the decision to rehome a cat is never easy. It can be emotional and overwhelming, and we approach every situation with empathy, discretion, and respect. Our goal is to ensure the well-being of your Maine Coon while supporting you through the process without judgment. Our experienced team will work closely with you to identify the most suitable new home. Whenever possible, we prefer a direct transition from your home to their new forever family, minimizing stress and disruption. If circumstances require a quicker solution, we can arrange temporary placement with one of our trusted foster families while we carefully select the right adoptive home. Once rehomed, your Maine Coon will remain part of the Fortunate Maine Coons extended family. We remain available for guidance and support to ensure their continued well-being. If you are unsure and simply need someone to talk to about your options, that is perfectly okay. We will never criticize your reasons. Our priority is always the welfare of the cat and finding the best possible outcome for everyone involved.
